DAN RAMIREZ

During the early eighties, while immersed in exploring the relationship of sound, color, and metaphor in Austrian and German music, literature, poetry and painting, I found in the Bohemian-Austrian poet Ranier Maria Rilke’s “Duino Elegies” an interesting and inspiring use of subject and poetic alliteration that inspired a series of ten collage/drawings entitled: “Where Are The Angels Now?”
